Cott Anke

born in 1963 near Stuttgart.

In 1986 moved to West Berlin where she studied art. Has been practising photography since 1990. Developing her photo materials with the help of computer, the artist creates multicomponent and at the same time united by their content works that allow aloofness and stimulate reflexion as well. The Jury highly appreciated innovative character and technical skill of the artist's works. The language of art clearly reflects young generation's attempt to comprehend old and new realities, first of all in Berlin.
